Chatmates ♥ Eunhae series part 7b
It was weird for a university to have a cultural day on Halloween but it’s their campus..
Donghae was excited to come to such an event for her birthday.. Spending her birthday at home is fine but spending it with hyukjae is even better..
As they loiter around to chck things out.. they noticed kyumin walking towards them.. Sungmin was holding two paper bags an little stuffed bunny.
HyukJae: I see another bunny for your collection..
Sungmin nodded.. kyuhyun pointed a stall
Kyuhyun: lots of cute plushy.. but not as cute as minnie~bunny
Sungmin was pleased at what Kyuhyun said and so he gave him a quick peck on the cheeks, kyuhyun smiled..
DongHae: really.. let’s go there..
Hae.. we need to visit your brother’s booth first or else..
DongHae: al right..
Sungmin: Oh.. before I forget.. Happy Birthday..
Sungmin handed the two paper bags. One for Donghae, one for Hyukjae..
They both opened it and thanked Kyumin for such wonderful gifts..
Donghae received personalized notebook with dolphins.. Hyukjae received a cap he’d been wanting to buy..
HyukJae: so are you coming to the haunted mansion thingy?
Sungmin: yup.. but let’s wait a while..
HyukJae: for?
Not long, Ryeowook appeared with Yesung.. yesung was wearing a Dracula outfit while Ryeowook was dressed as Harry Potter..
HyukJae: Is this dress up? Are costumes required?
Yesung: no.
Ryeowook: I was just helping woonie..
Kyuhyun: with what..
Ryeowook: promotion.. for the couple talent contest by the end of the night..
Sungmin: really?
Yesung: winners will receive a dinner date package at the luxurious hotel..
HyukJae: dlet me guess… Teukie - noona’s idea?
Yesung nodded.. it so obvious.. Leeteuk would just want to do something with Kangin to announce that they are a couple..
Sungmin: can we join?
Yesung: no prob.. the rules says any couples.. doesn’t have to be..
But then, a voice was heard causing the six to jump a little.. they were all surprised..
Henry: then we’ll join..
It was Henry with Christine.. they all said hello and asked why..
Christine: oh.. Leeteuk unni called me and asked me If I could spend my last day in korea here wit you guys..
I see.. so Leeteuk was planning something.. what was it?
They looked at Christine, she was wearing a simple cocktail dress in all white, and a simple tiara on her head.. all she now needs is a bouquet while henry was very cool in a semi-casual polo and pants
Henry: I told her that the next time I’ll see her, she would be in her wedding gown…
And they all looked relieved..
Henry: By the way.. we’re married..
Now they were all shocked..
Christine: Relax it’s just that marriage booth over there..
And now a spark lighted on Donghae’s brain..
DongHae: Hyukkie we go too..
HyukJae: you mean…
DongHae: You proposed didn’t yah?
HyukJae: I guess I did..
DongHae: Then yes.. let’s go .. and I do..
HyukJae: wait, hae, don’t be hasty..
Donghae dragged Hyukjae to the booth and the others closely followed.. they registered, waited and then said their vows.. Kyuhyun was then dragged by Sungmin and so they were off to get married.. Yesung also did the same thing.. and so another reason to celebrate..
They decided to enter the haunted mansion.. the rules said to be in pairs.. then enter with fear.. exit with trust..
And so they did, each of them held each other’s hand tightly.. who knows what they’ll encounter there..
Hyukjae was still tensed.. he wasn’t afraid to go in.. he’s afraid he might never leave this thing alive.. Kangin might rip him apart for holding his precious little sister too close for comfort.
Enter with fear.. as they walked the dark corridor, each step they took echoed. They heard screams from previous partners who entered.. but then it faded.. they looked around but saw no one.. not a single soul appeared..
They walked and walked.. why is no one coming to haunt us? And so they continued.. walking In silence..
When they reached the center of the mansion.. or what they presumed it was the center of the mansion, Hykjae stooped and let go of Hae’s hands. HE took out something from his bag, a plushy Dolphin. Donghae’s eyes widened at the cute plushy fishy… He handed it over and whispered happy birthday.
She moved back a little and took something from her bag.. she handed it over to Hyukjae and without looking, she muttered Happy birthday. IT was a plain white t-shirt with a costumized print. Hyukjae smiled, he placed his bag down and carefully placed his gift on it. Donghae was still looking down. Hyukjae then Removed his shirt, exposing his not so lean body. Donghae decided to look at Hyukjae. And as shre did, her mouth was wide open as she stare at the not so perfect body of hyukjae and malicious thoughts entered her pretty little brain..
DongHae: malicious malicious..
She muttered as she shook her head. Hyukjae then neatly folded his shirt and finally wore Hae’s gift. Now it was pretty clear what the print was.. In Blue and Bold letters wrote HAE’S then a chibi monkey holding a fish plushy. [Hae’s monkey]. Hyukjae smiled and thanked Donghae for the wonderful gift. HE then took her hands and they walked hand in hand towards the exit.. when they finally reached the end.. a large board was blocking it.. there wrote something that made the two smile even more
Exit with trust…
Look at the hands that held you through here.. I know that you’ve been together for so long.. I don’t necessarily pertain to couples.. maybe friends.. relatives.. family..
Whoever is holding your hands is your destiny.. together you braved challenges.. together you became strong… together you were unstoppable..
As you leave this place.. carry with you the memory of each other.. be proud because you braved it all.. and it only shows you trust one another.. continue walking into the real world with love and trust for one another..
