Hey everyone.
It’s been a few days since I’ve had time to post. Anyway, I wanted to give more thoughts on Dir-En-Grey’s album Kisou.
I was listening to more of it when I was out yesterday and I really love it. I had written about the tenth track on the album called Undecided and about how it has the best guitar solo in the middle along with Kyo’s great singing. Well, I think there are a few other good songs on the album.
24 Ko Cylinder which is the third song is about the best from Dir-En-Grey that I’ve heard. The chorus is some of Kyo’s growling, but I enjoy it because it isn’t just the usual death growl heard in most Death-Mettle bands. His voice is full of emotion and raw anguish. The guitars and drumming is also great.
Bottom of The Death Valley is another great song. It has more of Kyo’s great singing as well as the chorus punctuated by a phenomenal growl almost mixed with a scream. This is another song that like Undecided has an incredible guitar solo.
I could go on for a while, but those are my additional thoughts about Kisou.
