I'm sick. Apparently my allergies got to the point that they invited an infection into my system. It's affecting my ears (working through water feeling + dizziness), my head (massive headaches), my throat (no singing for me!), and my sleeping habits. Needless to say, I'm pissed. I'm only hoping I can get rid of it by taking sinus meds over the next three days --> my Spring Break starts on Thursday b/c I don't have any Friday classes.
I'll be in ATL starting Thursday, then I'm heading for Cordele Friday of the next week. I'm hoping to get a couple applications in while I'm free from school work.
As for classes, I've got 17 solid hours for next semester:
- IDS --> turning points and connections
- Equestrian (just because)
- Sociology of the Family
- Elementary Spanish 2 (I must take a total of 4 Foreign Lang. courses for my major)
- Careers in Writing and Linguistics (new course --> supposed to help me figure out what I want to do with my degree)
- Creative Writing
- Comic Book Writing in American Culture (my excuse for taking this class is story line development --> it's not actually in my course materials for my major)
So yea, a pretty full schedule for next semester. And. In case any of you were wondering how my costume for D*Con was coming along, I've begun work on my third pattern. This time, unlike the other 2 where I was using 16 gauge 3/16" ID, I'm using 18 gauge 3/16" ID. So the European 4-in-1 is much looser. I'm figuring this whole process out as I go, after all, I'm a new maille-er. I'm using European 6-in-1 for a base/support - then expanding with 4-in-1. When I have the initial piece I'll post pics.
