I hate car shopping

i hate shopping for a new car. i thought i had it rough when i was trying to sell my jetta, but now....i'm beginning to think that the car that i'm looking for doesn't exist. i hate going to dealerships where the cars that should be priced right about $10,000 are stickered for $17,955....i've been to way too many dealerships over the past few weeks, and i have nothing to show for it. private party sellers aren't much better. sure, their cars are listed cheaper, but they seem to think that they should sell their cars for over blue book. the one guy that was going to sell me a car around blue book didn't have the title with him, but wanted me to leave him a check for $6,900 and he'd send me the title when it showed up in ten business days.
