The 11th Hour -- the Extended Version

So. This weekend was the Doctor Who "11th Hour Convention", hosted by Starfury. It took place at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole -- a hop and a skip away from the Birmingham International Airport and the train station along with the NEC. It's a great location. I know it's difficult to choose between conventions -- I've had to seriously consider what I really want to do and what I should do :). But hey! Fandom is all about sharing amongst ourselves when we can't be there.

This really was a fabulous con -- but the kudos have to go to Matt Smith. He was utterly brilliant the entire day.

Okay, I have to admit I've never found Matt Smith particularly hot (talented, yes!), but YOU HAVE CONVINCED ME OTHERWISE. Holy crap.

::hee:: Thank you m'dear!! I've always thought Matt would be sexier in real life (and that he *is* -- he oozes charisma in person), but as for the photos, I had the camera out at the right time to catch a few good shots.

And if they ever actually did a show (Comic Relief or otherwise) where the 11th Doctor and Benedict's Sherlock met up -- the Internet just might explode :D.

You are very, very welcome :D. Matt Smith was definitely on top form last weekend -- I only wish I could remember more details. That's the downside to being behind the camera and focussing your attention on the pics...
