Hello internet! Oh how I have missed you. Two days without a connection and I was getting **twitchy**. I even called up our company's IT guy this afternoon in Canada to ask for his help with the new router!

So, the weekend! There have been fabulous posts by loreley_se and londinensa with pictures posted over the past few days. I'll add my wee bit of commentary to the ( Read more... )

I just adore that picture of Santiago. Totally. And Bradley being all bossy at us from several hundred metres away!!! And you best be careful -- those bats can cause a lot of damage as they fall down!!

Thanks for the heads up on the terminology! What can I say? My North American roots aren't doing me any good at the moment. Here's hoping I've made the right changes!!

Seriously -- I was nearly in tears earlier today when I kept encountering naught but problems. I finally had access around six in the evening. I am *such* an internet addict! And I'm so pleased that pic of Bradley turned out!! Pictorial proof of our bossy lad!!

I'm not sure what the play intended to do, but it was definitely a privilege to see Judi Dench on stage. My son didn't know what the hell to make of it...some play for a 21-year-old!

Sorry we didn't get to chat at all...I only see you at things lorley_se has organized, so times become few and far between! Are you going to see "Hamlet" or "Godot" in June?

I agree with you completely -- a total privilege to see Judi Dench. She is a remarkable performer. As for the play itself, I'm still mulling it over :)

As for chatting, we should get together some time for lunch or dinner. We are relatively far and few when it comes to being part of the North American contingent! Feel free to drop me a line at jhavauk [at] googlemail.com.

::grins:: Why you are more than welcome!! I was fortunate enough to be at both venues -- and Bradley was a lovely subject on both occasions. :) Win, win for us all!

It's the tragedy of my life that I wasn't able to get a cheap flight for this weekend of epic Merlin!doom... I've cried all weekend, got seriously drunk to forget that I could not be there and try to convince myself that it's o.k. and there'll be another opportunity to see Bradley all sweaty and gorgeous. *flails*

Your pics are making me happy, very happy indeed cos they're all wonderful - but I'm still crying inside...

BTW, would you give the permission to use your pics for icon making (with proper credit of course)?

There will be other occasions to see Bradley. I am completely convinced of this. The BBC and con organizers are fully aware now of how popular Merlin is which means -- cons for us!!!!

So, I suspect your patience will bear fruit.

As for making icons -- go for it! I'll be making some of my own, but I love the idea of others making their own. Enjoy!!!

Thank you! The timing for this weekend was absolutely incredible. And I give a lot of credit to the organizers for getting the Merlin cast to this event. That's quite an achievement!!
