[Meme] Revisiting Foods To Try
Stolen (and corrupted) from nisaba, foods to try - I've eaten eighty-three of the hundred entries, so wanted to focus on the ones I've not tried:
03. AlligatorEaten crocodile, so this one is here on a technically (and because it's an Americas-centric list. Crocodile was a cross between tough white fish and lemony chicken, though I had it steamed in a yellow curry sauce, which took some of the toughness out. Keen to understand what, i anydiffernce, between the two reptiles
09. Birds Nest SoupApparently there are a lot of faux-nest soups in modern times, which is a little odd as the flavour is meant to come from the spittle. Intrigued enough to try, but not that I plan to go out of my way to do so in the coming months
10. Biscuits & GravyNot bothered, tried mre or less eqivalent components and unconvinced trying them together wll be a exceptional culinary adventure
13. BorschtDefinitely want to try some, narrowly missed having the Polish analogue in Krakow
