In our last chapter, Josh was writing checks his body couldn't cash. Yep. I got the flu. Big time. About 90 days ahead of schedule AND after I had committed to gettting a flu shot that very week. Which seems pretty damned unfair, but there you go. (How is it that the flu gods know this stuff?)

So...things are running behind schedule a bit. I do ( Read more... )

I hope you feel better soon. I had my flu shot, but since the flu gods were not pleased I outsmarted them... I couldn't lift my arm for a week.
I enjoyed Death of a Pirate King and look forward to The Dark Tide. I look forward to your new releases!

LOL But how my luck usually goes it could have been much worse than a stiff and sore arm :) I did injure my knee again. I have learned my lesson I am not to ever, ever clean the attic. Not a problem at the moment as Harvey is still on the loose in the attic shower. Harvey is a really big spider. I need at least a shovel to go after him.

And I just read about the CYOA Christmas Surprise - awesome! I can't wait to read it. I have had CYOA stuck in my head lately - have an idea for my own if I can sweet talk Ali into writing it with me.

But so much fun! CYOA are allowed to be a bit silly and crazy. I am slowly working on Ali - give me a year and I'll get her to write it.

I hope readers have fun with it. They may just find it disappointing and strange. It IS pretty strange.

But again, that is the nature of CYOA. And those that loved reading CYOA or like the silly/strange will love it. I look forward to it. I can't believe I missed the post on it. It would be a lovely book to curl up with in front of the fire on Christmas. I saved The Dark Tide for Christmas and that tested all my control but was worth it.

I hope so! I'm trying to make it fun. People who love CYOA will definitely get a kick, I think.
