First the big news. The edited and expanded (by about ten thousand words) of The Haunted Heart: Winter is now available for sale at all the usual places:
Amazon, BarnesandNoble,
Smashwords,
All Romance Ebooks. Still grieving over the sudden death of his lover, antiques dealer Flynn Ambrose moves to the old, ramshackle house on Pitch Pine Lane to catalog and sell the large inventory of arcane and oddball items that once filled his late uncle's mysterious museum.
But not all the items are that easy to catalog. Or get rid of...
The Haunted Heart series. Four seasons. Four ghosts. Two hearts.
Winter. Since Alan died, Flynn isn't eating, isn't sleeping, and isn't spending a lot of time looking in mirrors. But maybe he should pay a little more attention - because something in that 18th Century mirror is looking at him.
Also, I gave into the pressure to make the short story "In Plain Sight" available in digital. This too can now be purchased through
Amazon,
BarnesandNoble Smashwords,
All Romance Ebooks.
The audio books are proceeding apace, as we say. The short story anthology In Sunshine or In Shadow (which has four, count 'em four, narrators trading off) should be avaialable for sale by the middle of September. Meanwhile, In From the Cold is two thirds complete and Armed and Dangerous is halfway done. You can read an interview with
Adrian Bisson at my blog.
(I'm really, really happy with the way these audio books are turning out, and I hope you will be too.)
And finally on the audio book front, I've just contracted Sean Crisden to narrate The Dickens With Love, which should be ready in time for Christmas.
Next up is a short story called The Parting Glass. This is a sequel to "In a Dark Wood." And then we're probably looking at Kick Start, the fifth Dangerous Ground novella. Either Kick Start or Boy with the Painful Tattoo, but either way BWTPT won't be out until the end of the year because of the formatting, editing, etc. But both these books ARE in the works. Don't let anyone tell you different.
So I think that's everything. I had a terrific vacation but it seems like such a long time ago. What are you all up to? Can you believe Summer is nearly past?
