It has a ring to it, doesn't it?
Anyway, I'm just putting the final touches on my 2009 writing schedule. Yes, 2009 is pretty much booked -- no pun intended. But it's all good! I think you'll be pleased. I'm pleased because while it is a busy schedule, it is a reasonable and sane schedule. Unlike...well...those 365 days that shall soon be remembered fondly as The Year Josh Lost It.
I leave the "it" to your feverish imagination.
Anyway, I hope to share the final lineup at the end of the month. A few things that were planned for this year have had to be pushed back to next year -- and I apologize for that. Don't worry, Adrien and The Ghost Wore Yellow Socks are still on target.
One change is that I'm mostly focusing on full-length novels next year, and one project that I am especially excited about and wanted to announce right away is a spec fiction novel that I'll be writing for Blind Eye Books.
Nikki Kimberling
kimnik made this announcement yesterday.
Details will be forthcoming. Spec fiction is a change of pace for me, and I'm really looking forward to the challenge. No title to the project yet, although Return to the Valley of No Return has been courageously suggested.
And slapped hard for it.
