I did not right much about my shopping excursion with my parents, let me remedy that. On saturday I drove up to New Hampshire with mum and dad in our CFC mobile (Ford F-150) The big new furniture places were nice, but boring. The consignment shops on the other hand, awsomes.
You see I am looking for a place to get attractive pre-loved furniture (in sort of a shabby chic motif). Boy did I find what I was looking for! There was one chair imparticular that struck my fancy. It had absolutely gorgeous wood work, and abominable fabric (that's what slip covers are for).
There was also a very nice chest of drawrs. I think it was cherry, It had fantastic hardware.
But alas I have no money. I just went to see what you could get for your money up there. You can get a good bit.
