Team Dude Bro Falls Twice
Last weekend, Team Dude Bro made it to the semi-finals in dodgeball. After 25 minutes of play, the scored was tied 2-2, so we went into overtime. After a single overtime of 3 minutes, the teams were still tied. For the second overtime of 3 minutes, Pohlish, Ben D. and myself were left on the floor against three opponents. We knocked one out, so it was 3-2 with only 45 seconds left on the clock. Unfortunately, with victory just within grasp, they caught one of our throws and then pegged one more guy. So, with 15 seconds left, I threw dodgeballs like my life depended on it. But time expired, and Team Dude Bro lost.
Last night, Team Dude Bro began the playoffs for intramural soccer by playing against the SAMs. They went up 3-1, but a PK and a shot by Ben put us all square at 3-3 when time expired. We went to a first overtime of 5 minutes, but no one scored. Next was PK's. Mike D. and Ryan Hayles made their goals, and it was tied 2-2 when it was my turn to shoot. I hit it nice and easy to the right...but just too far to the right and it bounced off the post. Their third kicker scored, and Team Dude Bro lost.
In other news, went to Jax to play some golf with TDub and Kev, and hang out with Luke Fair. Good times had by all.
Next week (Spring Break), Ben and I will be heading to DC to tour the Capital for a couple of days. Looking forward to it.
