Round 13

Jan 04, 2007 14:35

As with the past 4 years, Christmas break was a nice break from school. We kept busy with: camping, firepits, a few movies (thanks to Teicher), bowling, beach bocce, swimming, soccer, bowl games, board games, weddings, and '02 crew reunions. Unfortunately, I started off the break with strep, but kicked that with some antibiotics. I have a weird habit of getting sick every single Christmas break for the past 4 years.

This semester will be my last as an undergraduate. Forecast looks good with 2 easy classes, 1 lab, a karate class, and senior design (likely a toughy). For the senior design, I've decided to work on the autopilot software to fly our unmanned plane. Thanks to all who gave suggestions for it a while back. I plan to walk on May 5th, take a couple weeks off to play, then begin full time at Eglin in late May.

One good friend recently moved down to Melbourne, and another is moving next week. But two childhood friends are moving back to Pensacola, but only for a year or so. I'm anticipating that the next few years will be as such...friends moving in and out of the area. I'll just have to make the most of it while they're here.
