Well, one tiny wee hand-in and an exam to go, and I'm free. Until next trimester.
The "big week" was slightly tougher going than I had anticipated, I think I must be going soft in my old age. Nice to have one's work described as "incredibly ugly" and a "dogs breakfast" though - else how would you know you're in a real crit? This is why all these polite Wellingtonians need to invite Aucklanders down to reviews...
The "Introduction to Chinese Civilisation" test proved a bit of light relief, though. Pity that course is finished, now I have no excuse... And the essay that compared Chan (Zen) buddhist art to "The Tiger Who Came to Tea" did alright, too.
Managed to spend two whole days with the family this weekend: had slightly forgotten how weekends are supposed to work. Or not supposed to be work.
Of course, I didn't quite manage to do NO work... crawling around the roof of Hikitea II and digging out the gutters did feature. Yes, of course I found more bits needing painted and some more dodgy wood that'll just go on the list for "once I escape university".
In the meantime, Professional Practice beckons. Wheeeee....
