100 acre woods visit
So, we went for a visit to the 100 Acre Woods this weekend. It is an awesome place. It's just outside of Manor. This *could* be a great place to hold Flipside. It's in no way ready now, but 5 or 6 work weekends, a lot more hands than we usually get for a work weekend, two bobcats, two chippers and some tidying up would make a huge difference.
The best part about it? Closer to home!! If I hadn't had to leave from the warehouse, it wouldn't have taken any time at all!
They are building a large swimming hole, showers and are going to clear a lot of the mesquite out of it. There is so much shade with huge oaks, fairly flat open fields for parking, entrance on roads that are wide and passable and it is in....TRAVIS COUNTY!
Crap..I have to pretend to work now. More on the land later. I do look forward to some event out there!
