sweet and simple night
My mother told me today, "Vivre dans de compartiments quotidiens". I pictured a wall of tiny drawers, one belonging to each day and today mine was overflowing with good memories. I went to coffee with both Shane and Lina, who I've missed dearly who has a newly painted kitchen who should no longer have a big toe and who left us at seven to babysit. With my entire family Shane and I ventured to the skating rink. I feel the cool air inside me still and can close my eyes and perfectly see shane smiling because he knows that i know that the little boy in the orange shirt is running by. The entire family took Shane home. The night was so short, too short. I would gladly exchange sleep for a chance to relive it (It seems, so far, that is what I'm doing). I do love these simple life analogies, I found this one rather charming. If only i could live everyday like this one.
