(no subject)
so, this week/weekend has been increbible. thursday was the last day of classes, and my only final is on wednsday, which sucks, but after that, im done.
on saturday, the fuel injectors were given an unbelievable fucking opportunity. we got to open for the one and only MARKY RAMONE at the bombshelter in manchester!!!!!! he and his band played only ramones songs, and it was incredible. we got to meet him and everything. it was one hell of an honor and a very humbling experience to share the stage with one of the members of one of the premire punk rock bands of all time.
so, for tonight, or last night, if you wanna be all fuckin technical about it, jonee earthquake got on a mission a show, which also happened to be at the bombshelter. now, keep in mind, the owner of the bomb shelter was wicked pissed at the fuel injectors for not selling all fifty tickets for the marky show. luckily, i dont think he recognized me, which worked in our favor. anyways, so tonight, we played with a shitload of bands, including piracy (who i fucking missed cuz i had to fucking work, that pissed me right the fuck off, i REALLY wanted to see them), jonee earthquake band, the knox, the assbags, stin and the beatoffs, etc. so anyways, i was a little nervous, but people really seemed to dig us, which was awesome. we were talking to the knox after, and they asked us if we wanted to play a show with them sometime in july, which is amazing. so, everyone in all of the bands were really awesome, we got along with everyone and made some new friends. this weekend has been fuckin incredible. ive never played two shows in one weekend before, and it was awesome. and i still have three more this month between the two bands.
but yeah, shits runnin through my head that i wish wouldnt, but whatever, fuck it and fuck you too. hugs and kisses.
