Youre as healthy as an ox, with a terminal illness...

Just got back from the ER. Had a bout of heart trouble at work today while working on a machine at one of our bars. freaked me out so i went and sat in the tech shop for a while. it didnt stop so i called my parents and went to the ER. naturally, once i was hooked up to the machines, it stopped. they had enough data to figure out what it was but it was still damn annoying. ive been having these same pains at irregular intervals for weeks now. never really thought anything of them because they were so far apart. it would worry me when it happened, but the pains werent accompanied with nauesa, clammy hands, or anything for that matter. i had a bunch of them rapid fire at work. apparently this type of pain is called PAC. Premature atrial contractions. heart palpatations. my heart was beating out of sync. not terminal, not really that dangerous. i went in to find i was as healthy as a high school track runner not from Ocean Springs. they still want me to go to a cardiologist because PACs can be the first sign of cardiac trouble. im supposed to wear a heart monitor for a week afterwards. well see about that after i get this bill. i think my insurance will pay 100%. at least i hope they will. all in all a fucking scary night. Thank God for my great friends at work who were very scared for me and understanding. Janie actually drove me to the hospital and waited with me for a while before my parents arrived. i love my co-workers. and my parents for not strangling me for waking them up.
