Steps
Shhh,
No, don't faint. No promises, but this is at least a post. This is my latest project. The old steps from the backdoor to the porch were collapsing and frankly were a safety hazard, so this weekend I decided to take care of them. I went to Lowe's, bought what I needed to rebuild them from scratch and then came home and started tearing the old ones apart, only to find crumbling concrete steps underneath. It took another trip to Lowe's, some on the fly design changes, a consulation with Dad, and two afternoons instead of one, but here is the end result.
Did I mention I'm a computer geek and not a carpenter?
