Grubby Gulch
Me, Jamie and Chocolate Dave went to Dallas Tx for some baseball games. On the way we decided to go to Frontier City, a theme park in Oklahoma City, and it was totally lame. There were like 3 rollercoasters which all sucked. The best ride was called Treasure Mountain and you sit in a car and they try to scare you with these lame skeletons that don't move and totally suck. But it was so lame that it was cool. It was totally like one episode of Lizzy McGuire where the family goes to an amusement park called Grubby Gulch which was really similar to Frontier City.
Then we went to Taco Cabana and had the best tacos ever. Then we went to the baseball game and watched the Twins blow 2 saves and lose the game.
The next day we went to a wax museum. 1/3 of it was devoted to the life of jesus and it totally kicked ass. Then there was this horror section that i was too scared to go into because i would have crapped my pants. Jamie went in and when he came out he had stains running down the front of his pants. Then he went into the bathroom to clean himself off and there was a button on the wall and it said, "Hey! Push Here!" so he did. then there was a flushing sound and then a totally awesome farting sound. he stayed in there for like 5 minutes pushing the button.
Then we went to a restaurant called Humperdinks. and Jamie thought it should be called Dumperdinks. Then we went to a half price book/cd/record store and i got a really old copy of Volume 1 of Dead Souls by Nikolai Gogol, Exile and the Kingdom by Camus, The Counterfeiters by Gide, Scarlet and Black by Stendhal and Pere Ubu's Ray Gun Suitcase all for $10.
Then today i went to target and got the new R. Kelly 2 disc set for $10 and the unrated version of the Girl Next Door.
Last week i got the Pernice Bros' Monkey Suit single in the mail and Paul Morley's book Nothing, it's totally about suicide and Ian Curtis and Paul Morley's dad.
Anyways, go suck a fuck!
