this has been an interesting week. good. bad. slightly good. very very sad.

on one hand i started out the week with a parent teacher conference. never good. im doing okay i guess. but hey, its school its just not fun. then wednesday andrea came to church with me. that was fun. shes so cool. then went to my padres and had a 'serious talk' about my grades, hm... thursday was good i went to the sink or swim show at joes. it was awesome. theyre really good. then me and katie and jordan and er went to deals and me and katie got firemen hats which is just AWESOME. friday i went to the henry clay undergrounds... (shh dont tell anyone) and everyone was sitting down so of course me and katie go up to the front and stand in front of everyone and they were all staring at us because they didnt know you like... stand up at a show. whoa. to think... and of course i was there with rebs and welles. and switzers band played. and these girls were staring at him like they wanted to just go up there and eat him alive and they looked pretty silly. so of course i tried to convince rebs to and make mad love to him on the stage. then we finally left. whew. went to beaumont and saw sink or swim, again. and bullets fall and olympus mons. hmm... it was a pretty good night (well, what i knew of it was)

then came saturday. went to the show at the stadium which was just awesome as always. stadium shows never let me down. their very good for bad days... which i had. when i got home i got wind of some news i thought would never come. ive known alex since i was born. hes four years older than me and was like a brother to me. his dad and my mom have been the best of friends forever. we used to all live together. i remember alex used to run aroung the house on the weekends listening to jesus christ superstar on his ghetto blaster. he was a freshman in college in colorado. about two weekends ago alex was in a car accident and was slammed into a tree. he went into a coma and was progressing throughout the days. he was even responding to simple commands such as moving his finger when told. then he got pneumonia. he got an infection in his body and they didnt know where it was coming from. turns out there was an air bubble in his iv.
he died at 2 a.m. on saturday morning.

r.i.p alex yeakley. 11/5/04 i'll never forget you. i love you dearly.
