He was Greek, why are you quoting him in Latin?

(One of my lecturers quoted the “ars longa, vita brevis” a few weeks ago, and now I know where it’s from, so thanks, all the same :-)

It's probably grammatically horrific, but I had this nifty Greek translator hanging around that I don't get to use any more since I don't write with a partner whose characters use Greek epithets anymore.

It's also one of the very few things I recognize on sight in Latin. I love this quote. :^)
