Mr. Big Shot
I had a pretty decent weekend. Friday, I got to Sterling Heights around 1:30, so I decided to FINALLY go see Mr. Carpenter at Stevenson. We talked for a while because he didn't have a class 8th hour. He told me that he wants me to come back and talk to one of his classes about graduation/college experience/engineering. That would be pretty cool.
I got home around 2:45 and did laundry and watched FRIENDS. I fell asleep till about 6:30. I finished up laundry, ate and watched the first half of the Pistons game. At halftime, I went to my cousin Mark's house to watch the rest of it.
Saturday morning, I went to Mark's basketball game. Pretty exciting stuff...he is so clutch! It was double overtime and his team was down 3. They had possession with about 8 seconds left. Mark inbounded the ball to his teammate Ben then ran to the 3 pt line. Ben threw the ball to Mark who shot it in stride. What a sweet shot. He sent the game to triple sudden death overtime. They ended up losing, but he didn't care cuz he knows they played a good game and he had the game tying shot to put it to sudden death. I have it on video if anyone wants to see it! :-p
After the game, I finally got my hair cut. That night, I went to a hotel party for Pangasinan Club of Michigan. That was pretty cool. I had to help my dad set up his band cuz they played that night for the party. I really just chilled with a few friends like Mark and his cousin Lino. We were showing everyone the clip of his shot. I didn't get to sleep till around 4:30 cuz I had to help my Dad load all the instruments/equipment into the cars.
Sunday wasn't anything special. Came back here.
Busy weekend, I needed it.
Its a gorgeous day today...but I already feel like I can't enjoy it.
I should just give up trying now while I have the chance.
Maybe I'll watch Mark's shot again. Maybe that'll make me feel better.
Maybe I'll go spend some money. Maybe that'll make me feel better.
