I've been infront of this computer for an hour now. Writing an essay not due till tomorrow and it isn't gutcheck time. Instead i'm listingn to the pixies and semi-writing, semi-fighting zeds, and semi-reading shtuff.

This marks the first time i have used the phrase "in and of itself". Well, that was the 2nd time, the first time was in the essay.

So basically some the scarier badguys in movies are humans. When we talk about a scary movie yeah, a lot of times AAA ITS A GHOST! Or a zombie. Or dracula. Or a werewolf. Or aliens. Witches, ghouls, goblins and the devil himself. What about the villans that are human. Im' talking about Norman Bates. Hannibal Lecter. Hell, even the killers in Scream. Basically what we have here is a fear of ourselves and thusly, a fear or the worst inourselves. Some other aspects of that view would be that the Alien in Alien comes out of US! Or that the fly monster in the remake of THE FLY was just a guy who fucked w/ science. See all that scary shite? Its friggan scary. And that is cool.

Horror and terror. Being scared and spooked. Holy shit i just realized its october. hehe. Whats scaryier? The unknown? Or knowing the known? Anticipation for the BOO! or the actual boo it self.
