Sorry and pleased to hear about your mum. My mum survived breast cancer quite well (she didn't even tell most of the family including me until it was all over!) and I think T's mum had something similar to what it sounds like your mum got and they're both strong and healthy now. Cancer isn't always the end-of-the-world thing it used to be anymore. Wish her all the best from us and hi to the rest of the family too, hope they're well.
Sounds like your new job is better than the previous.. well, I don't about the job itself but at least you don't have someone like whatshisface around anymore. That's a Really Good Thing! :)
I'm not around a lot either so it's doubly good to see you here. But keep an eye out here, I'll post sometime in the next couple of days. We have an Announcement :D (And from that you can possibly guess ;)

And in response to this post, yeah, I know exactly what you mean. As much as I'd really like to keep in touch with some folks from my programming class, I suck at staying connected with people. Facebook is good for it though :) So far I've been found by my aunt that I haven't seen for around 20 years and an old school buddy I haven't seen since... 1984. That's soooo scary. I'm not that old! You know that, right?? Right?? ;)
