i recently figured out that when i 1) post about wanting to watch something i am more likely to do it and 2) i am less likely to be overwhelmed by all the films i want to watch when i focus on a region or country, age or movement, director, etc. it also helps to stay away from mubi, as i have a tendency to get sucked into all the lists on there and spend more time reading about films than watching them. so here's a list i'm posting for myself of stuff i want to watch. my choices for now are based on what i've had on my hd for forever and what's streaming on youtube, netflix, and hulu.
