almost there
it's been a crazy month full of things i'd rather not do or deal with. I can't wait to go to Ontario for a visit! Soon, soon.
i'm in the midst of marking final exams and writing a last essay. weather has been nice until today when it SNOWED! I hate this about Alberta. One day it is spring, the next day it is fall, then winter. summer takes awhile to get here. the upside of the weather here is that it could change in an instant so i'm hoping the snow is fleeting. i need some good weather.
in the midst of writing my last essay, i was feeling like a crack head and very incapable of thinking about weird terms like "responsibility" and "response-ability"--the crux of my essay about a novelist in a book by Doris Lessing who goes crazy. I was feeling her crazy. got some good news though.
I received a phone call and was informed that I won a supa sshrc. this means i don't have to teach next year and i don't have to move out of my apartment. this is good. i'm a bit bummed about not teaching and not having an office next year but ultimately relieved. this also means that i can afford to visit k-town more often.
which is what this body needs. body craves vitamin "BB."
