yay for weddings

the wedding last night was a lot of fun! the band was AMAZING! it was a 1940's theme so the band had a lot of trumpets and horns and fun stuff like that... :) instead of the typical 'slow-dance' the bride and groom do when they are announced coming into the reception they swing danced! the band played In the Mood by Glenn Miller...such an awesome entrance!!

Kristi looked GORGEOUS! she had her hair done in the 40's style where its parted on the side & waved down into a low bun in the back.
kind of like this.
she does a lot of acting and singing on broadway and her singing coach sang at the church...he kinda sounded like one of those tenor guys lol...
this is Kristi:

for the table favors they made a CD, they put all the songs on it that were played at certain moments in the night, such as In the Mood, when they entered, the song Kristi and her dad danced to and the song Keith (the groom) and his mother danced to and so on...BUT since Kristi sings and has an AMAZING voice, she sang (on the compiled CD) 'At Last' which her and keith danced to later in the night & "Wind beneath my wings' which she danced with her father too....the other songs on the CD were by Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Glenn Miller and other singers of that time period...the CD cover had a pic of Krisit & Keith and the inside covers it had pics of their grandparents wedding pictures from the 40's..it was such a cute & unique idea

anyway, not too much going on today..Lex came over for a bit and helped me with my Economics homework...thank the lord! i have no freakin' clue what i'm doing in that class...now i have to start packing soon and head back up to Philly...
