and I am just going to go right ahead and take this as you putting up your hand to be lurved!!!
I love your impeccable sense of fashion/style. Not in a "whats hot now" way, but in a classic elegance. I can remember (without sounding like TOO much of a fan crazed sycophant) more than a couple of acid filled nights at clubs where I sat and watched you become one with your outfit to the point of almost being completely mesmerized... The point is, you are always beautifully presented and you manage to find absolutely wondrous clothes that put many of todays "current" designers to shame and I applaud you for it! It is the thing that I instantly associate you with.
I love your creativity and appreciation for art. (and your passion for it as well is something that I admire!! Recently you eviscerated a young man for his inaccuracies in a way that showed not only your in depth knowledge of a work of art, but also your love for it and your loyalty toward it.
I love the complete adoration that you have for your beautiful kitties!! They are much loved which makes me proud to call you a friend, but more than simply your obvious love of animals, your tales of their antics and the photos that you have posted of them in your LJ have brought many, many smiles to some otherwise dismal days!!
I also love that in this dismal world of war, poverty and child and animal abuse, I have friends such as yourself who manage to still find and point out the beauty that remains. (This is something that will probably be a bit of a theme with many of my friends because many of them have this innate ability, so I mention it merely as an addition to the big 3!!)

I wasn't, but as it turns out I've had a crappy evening, and you've brightened me up more than I can say, as I was feeling considerably unloved. You couldn't have known, but I really needed this.
Thank you, honestly and terribly, terribly gratefully.
PS. I didn't realise you'd been there for the PreRaphaelite debacle. Whoops.
PPS. You didn't put up your hand on my journal, so I'm just going to but in unasked:
I love your pride in yourself. It's honest joy, without vanity, and it seems well-earned. It glows on you, and it's beautiful and compelling.
I love your integrity. You're comfortable with your lifestyle without having to make the big deal about it that many do, and you're not threatened by your own weaknesses, outside of those moments of weakness. That's strength. It's admirable. I have learned from you in this.
I haven't been around you much lately, but on the occasions I have, I've noticed, and been amazed by, the way you radiate stability. Not boring, staid, comfy, domestic stability, but the sort that also allows for excited squeals, bursts of laughter, honest joy, irritation, change, adventure, unhappiness and even panic, but still knows its own core. Reading your journal, too, not that journals are reliable to go on, but for what it's worth your words have the same feeling. It is, once again, admirable, and inspiring.
