The sun is shining on you, darlin'

Prismacolor pencils on paper.  I freehanded this from a painting hanging in my favorite coffee bar.  She reminds me of the soul singers from back in the 50s and 60s, like Aretha Franklin.  The neck up is an excellent reproduction of the painting, but I accidentally gave her the longest breastbone known to man.  The hair also gave me issues, but I'm quite pleased overall.  I wish I had made it bigger and in the middle of the paper, rather than squished to one side.  Oh well.  At least I can do it again, with experience.
