Classes are officially over. All that's left are four finals and a paper. Not so bad. And the first finals aren't till Monday, so I have a bit of time still to get ready.
Took the entire day off. Entirely. The only thing I had to do was momentarily wake up at 8 to pick up one more class that I wasn't able to get the first time around. I said it once--thankgod for online registration. Then I went back to bed for several more hours. It was a great day off, and I feel that much better and more able to get in one last bit of working frenzy, starting tomorrow.
I'm pretty happy with next semester's schedule. No 8am's at all. First time for that. Spanish everyday at 9:10-10, studio at 1:50-4 on Mon/Wed, math (bleh) at 11:10-12:25 on Tues/Thurs, and govn't (bleh) at 2:20-3:35 on Tues/Thurs. A total of four classes and 13 hours. I'm going to try to get an ecology lab that's at about 10:20, either on Wed or Fri. The latter if I can. Or Mon of they have it. But all of the labs are full right now, so we'll have to play that by ear. I have to take it sooner or later.
Started getting ready for vaxocentric's Christmahanukwanzaaka (sp?) party today. Bought several boxes of (cheap) cherry cordial chocolates, but they may be gone by the party if I'm not careful. As per Tim's request, I'll be making my Devil Eggs again. "Devil" because I used cayenne pepper instead of paprika the last time I made them. Made for a rather surprising kick. I may use Tony's instead this time, but we'll see.
I have some incredible extra fajitas from On The Border in the fridge. God, do I love fajitas. Definitely one of my top ten favorite dishes. I have extra teriyaki chicken, too. I'll be eating well for the next day or two...
P.S. I'm sad to report that after about 8 months of acting flaky, my cell phone charger has finally bought the farm. And naturally, the phone battery is dead. Therefore, don't bother trying to call me until I get a new charger (which may be tomorrow, hopefully.) The best way to get in contact with me right now is either e-mail or AIM. Those godless communists at Wal-Mart had almost nothing but car-chargers, damn them...
