DITL

EDIT: Ok, so the pictures are the right size now. I think my computer (and LJ and Photobucket) were just crazy. Whatever.

Yesterday was Day In The Life (DITL) day, a photography project originally thought of by a friend, which has now rapidly infected many of the rest of us.

The idea is to carry a camera around with you all day and simply take pictures; of yourself, of what you were doing, of things that caught your eye, whatever. The general theme was cupcakes, cats, and other DITLers. Sadly, I have none of the above. Fail. :(

This was my day.

(Note to dial-up users, or really anyone: There are a lot of pictures. Sorry.)

Late night "studying".

It's 2:00 a.m.

Yup, 2:00 a.m.

Peanut butter sandwich at, you guessed it, 2:00 a.m.

I do chores at amazingly random times.

The brushing of the teeth.

Dozing, 'cause it's Saturday.

The first thing I see when I "wake up".

The window by my bed.

You may notice that the clock reads noon.

I'm not a morning person. Or in this case, an early-afternoon person.

It is SO COLD in my apartment.

Yeah, my place is rather empty.

Sweet, sweet nectar.

Yeah, this is pretty common every morning.

My roommate is trying to grow peas. It's a long story.

Part of my collection of postcards.

Above the bed.

The "art corner", where I...keep stuff.

Taken in Italy, "Italian squares".

Taken in Italy. Still working on a title.

Taken in Italy, "Stephanie".

Taken in Italy, "Enzo’s tables".

The clean underwear supply was running low.

Yes, my kitchen really is that empty.

New, colorful bowls.

Trash bins.

More chores, oh boy.

Lunch. Kinda boring, but whatever.

I finally got around the doing something in the living room...

Rowsdower!

Dinner: Scrambled eggs with truffle oil and flax seed, sautéed spinach with garlic and lemon juice, and sliced tomatoes and mozzarella.

The bed-as-study again.

Homemade denim skirt before...

...and after
