Woot woot! We asked/begged Byoung-Suk (studio professor) to push back the due date for our hand-drafting finals, and she agreed. It was going to be due this Wednesday at the start of class (1:50), but now it's not due until 5pm Friday. I'm very pleased about this, because right now, I'd be behind to get it finished by Wednesday. Now, however, I think I'll have plenty of time to include everything I want, put it onto vellum paper, and get a perfect copy. The stipulation is that if we turn it in on Friday, she'll be grading it more harshly. We can turn it in earlier for a less strict grade, but I simply don't have the time. To turn it in by Wednesday, I'd be pulling at least one all-nighter, probably two. I'm probably going to spend one night at Langford as it is, but if I do that Thursday night, it won't be as bad, seeing as I have no Friday classes.
I was moaning yesterday on how bad it was, but it looks much better now. I needed a specific book for roof references, and the only library with a copy was closed all weekend. But I have it with me now, and I'm going to scan the pictures I need into my computer. I was having a problem with my perspective image, because I forgot how to set it up. But thankfully I went to the studio, where Juan reminded me of what I needed to do. Working at the studio isn't so bad, because there are usually several people there, and we all entertain each other. For instance, last night, Eric and a friend of his started doing impressions of raptors (dinosaurs) up and down the aisles. I nearly fell out of my chair laughing.
Need to get dinner cooking, and start scanning those pictures. Cheers.
