Christmas Memory

There's a "Christmas Memories" bulletin going around on myspace, but I thought I'd write this Christmas memory here instead. It's not long or anything, but I remember it so clearly.

We lived on Simmons Street, my sister was a little baby. It might've been her first Christmas. I was standing at the big living room window, looking outside. The UPS truck was there, and the UPS man was unloading TONS of boxes! There were boxes everywhere. My Dad was standing there, with boxes all around him, in the driveway. I can't tell you how many BIG boxes there were. It seemed like a never ending stream of boxes for us! I was so excited.

My Dad always gave us lots of toys, throughout the year, but we were never spoiled. He loved giving us things, taking us to the toy store, etc. I think he enjoyed it more than we did :)

I don't remember opening presents that Christmas, I only remember the delivery of all those boxes.

I miss my Daddy.

christmas, daddy
