Weekend
Anno, Seth + the babies got here at 2.30am on Saturday. Vaughn was so happy!! We didn't get to sleep until after 3 because he was so excited to see us. He's so adorable. Dean is HUGE. He does not look like a 2 month old baby. He's already 15 pounds, and his legs are super chunky, just like Vaughn's were!! Adorable.
Mom looked after Dean on Saturday while the rest of us went to IHOP for breakfast [Troy had to work]. When we got back, Kiki, Gaby + Franky were here. It was the first time we had all the kids together. They all wanted to go out + do something fun, but WE were exhausted. So Mom took the girls + Vaughn to old town, Kiki + fam. went too. Anno + I drooled over Johnny Depp [I tivo'd Oprah], while Seth slept. Dean fell asleep with me, so I took a nap, too. It's always so relaxing to have a newborn fall asleep on your chest!! We woke up 5 minutes before everyone came back.
Then we had the drama of going out to eat. My brother doesn't like to try anything new. Mom will go along with whatever he says. They wanted Mexican, but not the places that I suggested, and they didn't have any suggestions, so that was annoying. Nat + Seth really wanted to try Qdoba [I can't believe I haven't mentioned we have Qdoba in California now!!], that's where we ended up going, even though Mom + Kiki were reluctant. Didn't hear any complaints from anyone, though Mom did make some snide comments before we left the house. We ended the night with Pirates of the Caribbean.
Sunday, we went to Mom's house. Kiki + fam. went too. Mom made black bean tostadas, yummy. The kids all played outside, and fed carrots to the horses. They were so excited!! I took lots of pix, put them on mom's computer to free up the space on my camera, tried to burn a cd, but it wouldn't work!! ARGH. In the evening, a black + white kitty showed up, he looked exactly like my Yukio!! Chloe was convinced that he followed us. She was surprised the he got home before we did LOL
Anno + fam. left on Sunday night :( But they're coming for a week in August!!
