My Trip
I'm finally getting around to writing about my trip to L.A. Heehee
We left Friday evening & got there at about 1.30am. Grandpa was cremated & the funeral was at Gramma's house on Saturday afternoon. It was a strange funeral. Gramma didn't wear all black like she usually does to funerals. She didn't wear her veil & she didn't have her rosary. No one cried. No one volunteered to do the reading...my grandparents have nine kids & a million grand- & great grandchildren. It was really strange. But...it was great to see my family. Nana, Julian & Maya were sick, so I didn't get to see them. All the babies are so beautiful!!!
Sunday, we went to lunch, Nana's & Church with my Mom. Richie was at Nana's, hadn't seen him in ages. Nana is STILL telling me that I have to have a boy. She's been telling me that since I was pregnant with Anika.
Monday, we went to breakfast with Natalie, Seth & Vanessa at Mel's in Hollywood. Vanessa gave me the cutest bday gift!!! It's a Gene Loves Jezebel purse. It's made with the House Of Dolls record & cover. It's really cool, she had it made just for me :D
There never is enough time to do all that I want to do in L.A.
Vaughn is sooooo cute. All he says is 'Car?'...everything that moves is a car. He wasn't feeling well most of the time, poor baby. Natalie really really wants to move here but Seth doesn't...grrr. Speaking of moving...
My Mom starts her new job in Placerville in a month!
