Vacation!!!!
I had a really good time in L.A., though I didn't get to see/meet or even call some of the people I had wanted to =(
Okay, I'm going out of order but here it is:
Friday: Went to Jay's & Jessica's apartment. Jay looked great as always!! Jessica was nice to me, which was good. She actually was! She has never spoken to me, but she talked a lot & was really nice. She's really smart, too. Jay was sweet & funny & singing =) Kayt is going to send the pix she took, I can't wait to see them! Jay's hugs are wonderfully tight! And he kissed me on the lips, woohoo!! And he said he loves me. LOL He really did! He even spelled it out! LOL Jessica was talking about scanned documents being read as images, not as text, and Jay said "You mean if I wrote 'I love Lani' the computer would read it as I-L-O-V-E-L-A-N-I". I wish Kayt had taken a pic of my expression at that moment. I hope I didn't appear to be shocked, even though I was. I know he said it because I would be absolutely thrilled & treasure that forever!! It was sweet. We drank red wine & I stayed there 5 hours longer than we were supposed to. It was nice to be out, though. Mom took care of Chloe & Anika. I wish I had my camcorder that night but I didn't get it until Saturday afternoon. Oh well. Oooh!! Jay & Jessica might come here soon to go skiing & guess whose house they're going to stay at?!!!!!!!! I should start cleaning. Wow. Jay Aston coming to *my* house. And he wants me to go skiing with them. I don't know how to ski!! I can't wait for the pix from Friday night!!
Wednesday: Went to Disneyland. It was a perfect day!! Perfect weather, Anika & Chloe behaved perfectly, Wednesday is the perfect day to go to Disneyland!!! No long lines! The girlies got to meet all the princesses. Anika was thrilled about that! Chloe was thrilled to meet Woody, Jessie & Buzz, but she didn't want to get near Buzz by herself. The pix came out really nice but Troy left them at Gramma's house. We spent LOTS of money at Disneyland!!
Thursday: Visited Nana, and she was nice to us!! Wow, I guess it's true, she HAS changed. She kept saying that she hadn't seen Chloe since she was born, which isn't true. She saw her last when she was 9 months old. Then we went to Alter Years & bought some patterns, steel boning & busks. That night we went bowling. It was lots of fun!! Mom wasn't gonna go, but I convinced her to.
2nd Sunday: Chloe's birthday party! 2 months late but better than nothing! I was surprised to see Oscar, Linda & Paul. I haven't seen them in ages, especially Paul! Oh, and Alex, Veronica & Michelle, too. I hadn't seen them in eons, too! And Giovanni! He's so big, he was 1 year old when I saw him last. Chloe got tons of gifts, equal amounts of toys & clothes!! SOOOOOOO much stuff!!!! Too bad Vanessa didn't make it =(
1st Monday: Left Julian's in the afternoon, then went to Anno's work. For dinner we went to Buca di Beppo, YUMMMMMMMMY! Met Seth, he's really nice.
2nd Monday: Left for Vegas! Excalibur didn't have any rooms available & the other hotels were too expensive, so we stayed at Rodeway. On Tuesday, we went to MGM Grand, M&M world, and Caesar's Palace {where we went shopping}. Troy bought me 2 Barbies that I have been drooling over forever! Le Papillon by Bob Mackie {my first Mackie doll!! Yay!!} and From Dusk To Dawn {a gorgeous Fashion Model with yummy outfits!}.
1st Sunday: We stayed overnight at Julian's. Sarah was there & she was sooooo excited to us!! Chloe & Anika were very friendly, giving hugs & kisses to everyone! I was surprised that Anika did. She's not so shy anymore, woohoo!!
1st Tuesday: Visited Vicky & Noe & family! I miss them so much! They are *such* a great family!!! Truly wonderful people.
