More Dreams
I've been having loads of travel dreams lately. Mostly frustrating travel dreams. I forget to buy plane tickets. Or I forget my kids. Usually, I don't make it to the destination, which is always England. When I do make it, Troy is with me and he doesn't want to do anything but sit around in the hotel room all day.
I dreamed of Jay, Francois, and Joel the other night. Jay & Francois were playing a gig at what looked like a big amphitheatre from the outside, and most of the inside. When I got close to the stage it looked more like an enclosed patio. I said hi to Jay and Francois, and I was much happier to see Francois than I was to see Jay. I jumped into Francois' arm and did the whole "movie spin". My Mom was there, on the stage, so I introduced her to Francois. He told her that he met me 15 years ago. It really has been 15 years.
Monique was there, too, showing me baby clothes and blankets.
Francois' hair was really long, waist length, and had quite a bit of grey in it. Jay's hair was long, too, and reddish brown.
I left with Jay. We were walking in a city, and there was a kitchen on one side of a bridge. ??? It was my kitchen. I was telling Jay that Monique had lots of Tupperware to give me but I didn't want it. He asked why, so I pointed out the cupboards saying "See that one? All Tupperware", to every cupboard. He said "I see your point". LOL
Next thing I know I was talking with my Grandma. She gave me a handful of mint leaves & I put them in the little pocket of my backpack. I went to this house, and the woman living there told me which room to go to. For some reason I had to change my clothes. I had never seen this house before in real life or in dreams.
The room I was in had a bathroom, and it was connected to another room by a closet. I was getting my clothes out of a bag when I saw Joel in the next room. I was surprised to see him and told him to come in.
He said he needed 3 things to put in his shoe. A marble, a stick of gum, and a mint leaf. WTH??? He had the first 2 things but needed a mint leaf.
I said "Oh! My Gramma just gave me a handful of mint leaves!" I opened up the little pocket in my backpack, which suddenly had dozens of small pockets in it, and started looking for mint leaves. There were none in there. There were metal leaves, paper leaves...but no mint leaves.
I was going nuts trying to figure out what happened to the mint leaves! Joel was wearing beige boots, he unzipped one, and showed me that he had the marble and the stick of gum, and said he really needed the mint leaf!
He started saying funny things that I don't remember, but I do remember we were both laughing.
Then Troy woke me up!! Grr...
