“Have you noticed something off about Jasper, lately?” I ask.
She snorts. “Yes. I think he’s jealous.”
“About what?” My heart flutters at all the possibilities. Could Jasper love me the way I love him after all?
“Probably because you have a date and someone besides him is going to be occupying your time.”
And there goes the flutter. My heart sinks. Instead, I get pissed. “So let me get this straight. Jasper is allowed to spend whatever amount of time he wants with me and then whatever female he wants occupying his bed, but I’m not allowed to do the same?”
Rosalie nods. “It’s his warped sense of ownership.”
“But Jasper doesn’t own me!”
