Teasers for Timeless and After All
So, I apologize for the epic fail I've had in terms of updating my blog. So, to make things better, I have two teasers for you today. Hope you like it. The next chapters for both should be out soon.
Teasers for After All:
I stare at Emmett in shock. I can’t believe how he looks. I’ve never seen him without a small. He is wearing sweatpants and a warn T-shirt and he looks paler than I’ve ever seen him.
“Quit gaping like a fish, Bella. You’re going to catch flies.”
At least he has some humour left in him. The small smile he has on his face drops and his shoulders droop. “Are you going to be okay, Emmett?”
“No.” He mumbles.
I get off the bed and walk to him, hugging him around the waist. “It’s going to be okay, Emmett. You’ll see.”
“If only I was as optimistic as you, Bella.”
“How’s your head?”
“Pounding,”
“Well, it’s your own fault.” I say, getting out of bed. “Only you would be stupid enough to drink that much.”
He shrugs. “Emmett, Isabella, it’s time for you to get up! Your plane is leaving this afternoon.” Charlie calls from downstairs.
Emmett and I glance at each other. “I thought he was only going to call Uncle Denny.” He says.
I shrug and go downstairs. Emmett follows behind. Charlie holds up the plane tickets. “I was going to surprise you with the trip. Turns out, you both need it more than I thought.”
Emmett blinks. “Thanks Dad.”
Teaser for Timeless:
I could also understand her frustrations. She needed to get back to her own reality before something got worse than it already was. The only thing that I could possible think of for her being here was if the Volturi were involved. Although, I’ve never heard of anyone having the power to send someone into different realities but I wouldn’t put it past Aro to find someone who does. Aro must want Bella too much to go through this whole deal. Bella never told me the extent of the Volturi’s knowledge of her so I couldn’t be sure. I would have to talk to her.
A few days after Bella’s visit, it was rainy. I took it as a good sign, realizing how this could turn to my advantage. I needed to speak to Bella about this anyway.
Just a few hours before my shift at the hospital, I headed out for the Whitlock Manor. I hoped Jasper wasn’t home but I wouldn’t put it past him if he was.
