“There is no point rehashing the past. It’s all in the past. I’m back now and I’m safe.” I looked into his golden eyes.
“With scars,” he growled.
“Scars or not, I still survived.”
Jasper looked down at me and nodded. He pressed his lips gently against mine. “I’m sorry.”
“You really have nothing to be sorry for.” I said.
“You did nothing wrong.” We stayed standing at the window, watching the sun rise. It was so beautiful.
