(reading dump post)

So recently I've been reading a number of finance books. I particularly enjoyed Derman's book My Life as a Quant: Reflections on Physics and Finance. Some of my favorite quotes:

It was supposedly an interview question lol. For a science scholarship kinda thing.

Place a rod-like object (pen, ruler, anything) on your fingers, one on each hand, like this:

Move your fingers progressively closer to each other. You will notice that the rod first slides on one finger, then the other, alternating back and forth. Explain. =P
