ETA. okay. wow. WOW. i had to sleep on this to be able to talk intelligently about it, it was that good. it just... beautiful, from start to finish. with the jesse owning a bookstore and the frying pan and the perfectly-timed past scenes and the "I believe enough for the both of us" and the unofficial apartment-sharing and the way jesse reacted to andrew's play and the poem postcards and the perfect, perfect sex and the EMMA and the getting married and the "Best moment ever" and the little extras and the way this read like a poem from start to finish and all the nice things just, ever.
and apparently i still can't speak intelligently, so, never mind.
i do want to say, though, i tend to steer clear of even non-explicit abuse fics because i think they're so impossibly difficult to do well, but i had to read this because you wrote it, and i just-- there were tears. repeatedly. you wrote that whole element with such sensitivity and insight, and it was heartbreakingly believable.
