day one
The first day of recording went very well. We got the drums and bass done for all three songs. Anybody who ever needs to record in Austin should check out www.lowlightsound.com.
We were supposed to start at 4pm, but Luis pushed it back to 7pm because he needed more time to finish mastering the tracks for whoever he was working with before us. It must have been a long day for him. Tomorrow it's going to be a long day for us. We're starting at 2:30pm and going until midnight to start making up for that lost time. It should be a lot of fun though. We're going to get the guitars and vocals completely done then.
Thursday and Friday we're doing mixing, so if anybody wants to drop by the studio, feel free to give me a call.
It's actually a good thing we got a late start today because I didn't even finish the lyrics to the song I'm singing until like 5:30. Dietrich is singing the other two.
I've hardly thought of school work since Friday, and it has been awesome. Yep.
