i was with wesley. we were at the virginia center commons, or close enough to it anyways. really, we had walked behind the movies to a big forest. it's on jeb stuart road. it wasnt late but the times have made the sky turn around faster. i couldnt see everything around me too clearly, all but the path and my shirt were darkened. his hand held mine. i saw his face because he didnt notice me looking. it was focused on the line of gravel without any lights at the end.
i stopped and took his arm bundled in winter coat. his body stopped because it could not feel the warmth of mine. blue against algae eyes. algae and blue. darkness intwined us, but the light of the full moon took us in her arms and in all mutual breath...we kissed. and it lasted and ossified that picture of life. one second and he engulfed me, warmth struck me with his body...all the way around. can you imagine two people kissing under the stars and trees, but not in a movie? my fingers swam around each strand of his blond hair. his hands rested on the back pockets of my little jeans.
