I feel like death...
well, again its 4 in he morning and i refuse to sleep because i have no plans; no obligations for the next day.
actually its great! waking up at 3 each day, not having anything to rely upon or do.
yet, at the same time its amazingly boring.
maybe its the fact that i am without a car and the mustang im working on wont ever seem to be completed.
that and i refuse to drive the mothers minivan. i could almost think about using mass transit outside of ny.
almost.
and maybe i also have nothing else to do because for some reason in the 4 years, wait has it been 5 years!?! jesus...
anyway, in the years ive been here, ive never actually made it up to birmingham when i wasnt going out of town to the airport or to fabulous jewish services (am i still jewish? whats that language called? he-brew??? sounds like a guy who makes beer. oh what great things ive learned (and forgotten) in alabama) or even dinner or even spectacular botched surgical procedures that led to weeks in the hospital..but thats another story if the two or zero of you who read this dont already know.
i really shouldve made contacts in bham. and there are some good looking jews there too. :(
and another reason i sleep till 3...seems like all my friends left for the summer; italy, romania, russia, uhh, well thats just the italian, romanian, and russian guy.
you would seriously think there would be more to do in a college town, ESPECIALLY when i live literally seconds from it. i mean i was walking down The Strip at near midnight earlier (again, because i have no car) and half the places were closed; all the bars were open of course; but only one place had a live band. sad.
i hear this place was much better in the 70s and 80s. hard to believe.
i mean how the hell could BOTH coffee places be closed before midnight!?1?!?!
i guess im glad to get out and head to miami.........
