AEPI Rocks My Socks
Semiformal was so much fun! It went by so quickly though. I left Friday at like 4:30 with Jeff, Abe, and Abe's date. We got caught in traffic, so we didn't get to Chatanooga until 6:30 or 7. The whole group went out to dinner, but we had to sit separated from each other. My little group ate outside with a few other people since the wait was a lot shorter. it was a little chilly, but nice. After dinner we went back to the hotel and started drinkin! Jon even brought a blender so we had strawberry daquaries with pinapple rum. it was great. There was such a wide assortment of liquor. I didn't try to go to sleep until about 6:30 and even then I just wasn't tired. I knew I needed to sleep, but it just wasn't happening. I think I probably got around 3-4 hours that night. Saturday during the day we did touristy things like going to ROCK CITY. It was cheezy, but really pretty once you got to the top of the little mountain. After rock city my group went back to the hotel. Sarah and I started getting ready and we also started drinkin some more at around 4-ish. Root beer and captain morgan's silver is highly recommended. A couple other girls came in Sarah's room with us and we were all getting ready together.
We had to be at the aquarium at 5 all dressed up. it was funny going there with our dresses (and not too good walking around in heels). So we walked around the entire aquairum. My arm was held either around Jeff's (so I wouldn't fall, it almost happened a couple of times) or in his hand. Dinner was set up and it was very good. There is just something about non-school food that appeals to the appetite. Then there was the nice. I had such a blast! Jeff is a really good dancer. I was dancing with him and a bunch of the other brothers the entire time. I was so tired by the end, I thought I was going to collapse. During the middle and the very last song they played a slow song. It was so much fun! Jeff would spin me around and pull me close to him. He even dipped me and when he pulled me up, we kissed. Very cute. At the end of the night we took a couple group pictures. On the "funny" shot, Jeff grabbed me and kissed me. I was taken by suprise. I saw the proofs today and I noticed that 7 other couples were doing the sam thing! (Even Jeff Unnis and his boyfriend!) Saturday night we drank some more and then I passed out from exhaustion.
Sunday was back to the real world. Sarah and I went over to Ben nathan and Skokie's place to watch Memento. Good movie.
Now I am in the midst of studying for the two tests that I have this week. All the work is piling up. This semester is coming to an end, I can't believe how fast it has gone by.
