The Big Update
Okay after that little episode yesterday I believe I'm ready to update.Hmm.. where to start?Ah yes! We shall start on the 24th.That Saturday I had to get up at 6 in the morning,because that was the day of the city swim meet.On the ride there I don't really think I was awake,but once we got there we had to try and find our team.Which was on the other side of the building and since I didn't know that it took about 15 minutes to find them.And by the time all that happened warm-ups were over!And I've never swam without warming up first,except for one time at practice and my legs and arms cramped up so bad.So I was worried about it.But I was just stretching until my race and I was fine.So I got through all my races fine and we ended up leaving around 12:30.When we got home I was so tired but couldn't go to sleep so I pretty much did nothing the rest of the day.The next day I got up and went to church and had lots of fun.Then we had our swim team party at Cici's Pizza and the pizza and bread sticks were so good.The fresh brownies were heavenly.After we ate they started handing out awards.Dustin gave little speeches about all his kids,Denise just handed out the awards to hers,and Jonathan just had a choice sentence or two for my group.This swim team year I came out of it with a fancy little trophy,an MVP trophy,three 3rd place ribbons,a 6th place ribbon,an 8th place ribbon,and last and definitely the least the crapfullness of the participation ribbon.But over all a great year and unfortunately my last... well for summer swimming at least.Then I had me a nice little conversation with Jeremy and Jonathan about joining the Ed White high school swim team this year.Which is now only two weeks away.They said that they would try out and that makes me happy because they're always nice to me and it'll be great to have more people I know on the team.Our church property was sold and a school is moving onto the property.So Keith had asked some of the high schoolers and middle schoolers to come and help move things.And since I had nothing better to do I decided to go up there.Mostly just to hang out with people because I expected quite a few to come.But it only ended up being 4 people.Me, my friend Jessica,a weird guy named Steven,and a boy named Alan.And besides me and Jessica none of us really hung out.So I didn't expect it to be that great,but it was!WE had a load of fun,and we all got along pretty well.We solidified that Jessica is a klutz,that Alan is a cool guy,and Steven's friend Kenny thinks I'm hot.Which I thought was cool because I met Kenny and he's great.But we'll have to wait a little longer to see what happens between us.Though I was begging Steven to bring him on Wednesday.And he brought him!I was excited cuz Kenny's just a fun guy to hang around.Wednesday night after church my mom took me and my little sister out to Middleburg to spend the rest of the week with my mema,aunt,and my little cousin.Over the next two days there really wasn't much to do but watch movies.So we watched a crap load of movies.Freaky Friday,Big Daddy,both Harry Potter movies,The Haunted Mansion and Dinosaur (for our cousin),Grind,Blue Crush,Master and Commander,and The Last Samurai.But it was enjoyable.Friday afternoon we came home,and we did something but I can't remember what it was.On Saturday McKynlie went to Ichetucknee with the 5th graders.Cody went to work.And no matter how much I begged my mom wouldn't let me go to Ichetucknee,but instead I had to stay with her and set up for the 5th grade graduation.I had to cover tables sweep,and pull over 100 heavy chairs out for the tables.8 for each table and there was 19 tables so you do the math.I was almost done and the kids came back and got to help with the rest.Bradley was moving a table and it fell on his leg and it left a big bruise,and I was carrying the last few chairs out and one of the legs got caught in my chain and it slammed into my ankle (which I broke about 2 years ago)it instantly bruised and then turned into a lump.I couldn't walk on it for about 10 minutes,and that was scaring me because the next day I would be walking all day at Warped Tour.But we got everything set up and went home.Sam was coming to Warped with me so she came over and spent the night.It took me forever to fall asleep since I was so excited.
