Stuff about things and stuff
As most of you have probably already heard, Michelle and I unofficially have a house now. We made a bid on a single family home in Sterling at Sugarland Run last Saturday. After some counter offers and re-counters we finally reached an agreement. Now we have to wait for the bank that owns the house to forward us all the correct paperwork to sign for our contract to be ratified and official. When its all said and done we'll end up buying this house for almost half of what the last owner paid.
But thats not the biggest news.
Michelle and I are getting married on May 30th. Yes, of this year. As cold and clinical as this sounds we're doing it this year for tax reasons. However on our one year anniversary we're going to hold an actual ceremony and reception complete with booze and flower throwing and all that other sappy stuff people love. Right now my mom is trying to set up a bridal shower for Michelle and get my wedding band. I don't know if I'm having a bachelor party or anything. I mean, are you supposed to have a best man for a Justice of the Peace wedding?
While I'm here I'm going to admit that I have no idea how to get the process started on getting a Justice of the Peace ceremony. I know I have to go to the courthouse to get the marriage license but thats about it. I know at least one of you have done this before so any help would be awesome.
