Ingredior, ingredi, ingressus sum

I forgot to put the "r" endings on one of my stems.
I dealt with my frustration by putting cyan pepper in the house's granola.

to my dismay it turned out . . . . delicious.

Emmerson and I will be going home to Turlock tomorrow, or the next day. I am yearning to see a Christmas tree. Jamie and Sarah are making soup in the kitchen. We had a dance party in the living room last night for Ben and Jordon, and also, to celebrate the end of a quarter. The dance party ended at around 3:30 am, and I stayed up until about 5am, talking to Eric and company out on the porch, and then in my room with Marisol who spent the night in Keren's bed, as Keren is in San Francisco right now for a conference. Marisol and I talked of many things, of cabbages and kings -- I slept til 11am after that, and Emmerson and I both were still a bit sleepy in the morning. But I got up and took a shower, and said goodbye to Natalia -- not a proper goodbye, because I was still in the shower at the time, but I'll see her again soon.

I've spent most of today since I woke up half-heartedly moving boxes of my stuff up to my new room (upstairs, The Primate Room, where Jay and Austin were last quarter), and waiting for my mother to email me back about when it is that I will back in Turlock. I can tell already that I will very much miss the co-ops while I am gone, but, at the same time, it will be wonderful to be with my family again, and to have a little Christmas. But it will be sad not to have Ben and Jordon around next quarter. And then Keren, Tessa, and Yo are leaving, and that will be hard. But they'll still be in Davis, so here's to that.

All in all it has been a good quarter, and I am excited for the next one to start, but not too soon. I have some art I would like to get to, and some Latin I need to get down before my next class begins. Right now I have laundry to do, a bike to see about, and delicious soup to eat.

I love you all and I hope you are all keeping warm on these lovely winter days.
Peace.
